Prevent logo pen theft

I know that business cards are a necessity for my business. While not a necessity, logo pens can mutely present an enduring reminder of your business. Take, for instance, the pen I recently saw. Big, bold font proclaimed, "This pen has been stolen..." while smaller font declared, "from [name and address of business]!" That made me laugh, but I don't think I will choose that design for my logo pens!
