When will one be mine?

I love my girls; they are my precious gifts from God. However, they have not inherited my looks. (Boy, that sure does sound vain and uncomplimentary!)

Mind you, my daughters are beautiful, but they most definitely resemble their father and/or his side of the family. If I didn’t know better, I might be tempted to request DNA Testing to verify that they are my children. Of course, having given birth to them, I have no doubt that they are certainly (and most painfully) my own children. Maybe one of the next ones will take after me.

I totally feel your pain! My 2 year old is a carbon copy of my Mother-In-Law!!! And my 1 year old looks like my brother-in-law! (good thing hubby's family is made up of pretty people...) ;) Here with the Ultimate Blog Party - glad to have found ya!

Oh, that's funny! My 2 year old also looks just like my mother-in-law! Thanks for stopping by; I'd be happy to see you again. Have fun at the party. :)

Many years ago a friend's young daughter looked so much like her father. Now, the girl is in her teens and looks sooo much like her Mom.

Amazing!

You never know! Or she could end up looking like one of the ancesters on either side (smile).
My niece looked like neither parent when she was a toddler. Now she is a teenager, well, she still doesn't look like either (laugh). Actually she lookes like a real cross between both parents.
