Congrats, Newlyweds!

It doesn't seem possible that my baby sister, who turned 20 at the end of June, is old enough to be married, but apparently she is. She and her boyfriend surprised us by getting married on July 14. He's a Marine and is headed out for his second Iraq tour - can't remember if he leaves this week or next. He'll be gone for a year, and they will have only had two weeks of marriage together. I think that's a bummer.

Welcome to the family, Joe. I hope you two have a long and happy life together.

Awww, thanks, that was sweet of you and shoshi. lol I'd post a comment on Sho's but I don't know how. Yea, he leaves Sunday. He's already got Brittany promising her to bring back her 6th b-day present from Iraq. What's crazy is having over 14 nieces and nephews now.

They were here on Saturday, Dana, and they are sweet. He shipped out today for 7 months. I don't know if I could take that.

Yeah, 14 nieces and nephews is quite a few, Sarah. Other than you, I'm the last one left to have more kids, and I only want one more. You gonna contribute to the pool in a couple of years? *laughing*

Thanks, Cami! I'll let her know. Joe shipped out Sunday (8/3) so I imagine she could use some encouragement about now.

You know, a deployment is why G and I got married so quickly. In fact, your sis' new hubby looks a bit like G did when we got married with his red hair and military haircut. Congratulations to your sis.
