Captured moment

This was one time I actually got my camera and captured one of those moments I want to remember.

I just want to cover her with kisses because she looks so sweet!

OK--I have often thought about going into my daughter's room and taking a picture of her when she sleeps, but I never wanted to wake her. So nice that you did that. Now, I'm inspired to do the same!

Beautiful pictures, Revka. I love that wide-open sleeping. It just seems to say, "I feel safe here."

I'm right with you on the camera thing, too. I never have the darn thing with me at necessary times. Do I really want to be paparazzi to my child star? That might be my hindrance.

Hmmm ... is Blogger not forwarding comments now? I commented here and it never appeared.

Just in case--I was thrilled to see a pic of your child sleeping. I've thought about it, but never took one because I didn't want to wake my daughter. Now I'm inspired to slip in her room while she sleeps and snap one. Sooo cute!

Thanks, you guys. I'm glad you like the photos.

Frank, sorry about your comment being posted so late. It wasn't Blogger's fault. I checked e-mail Saturday afternoon and didn't get back on the computer until Sunday night. It was totally worth the risk to capture these photos, and I hope you get some great ones of your daughter as well. There is something so angelic about a sleeping child.

Rory, thanks for coming by and for your kind comment. I appreciate it, and you're welcome back anytime. Yes, she certainly does appear to feel safe and relaxed. :) I often have that urge to capture every moment, but I don't want to be the camera-happy mom, either.

I hear you. I've always had the sense that waking a sleeping child was like a "sin" (smile). But now you've got me thinking and I'm going to try a couple.

As far as waking your daughter, it may not even bother her. I know my child are sound sleepers (they have to be with 3 kids in the house!), and I've taken other photos while they slept. None of the girls have ever seemed to notice. I hope you share your pics on your blog. I'd like to see them (when you get some).

I love it - have some of my little girl too. They don't get any cuter than that!!!

Ah, that I will. Once I sneak into her room and snap away (laugh).

Romie, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your taking the time to comment. I think even the most horrible acting child looks angelic when asleep. :)
